Pastor Kurt, with all due respect the video that you posted is from a cult that uses ACIM for its own purposes.

It was led by an ex-alcoholic named Chuck Anderson who is recently deceased.

In A Course in Miracles it clearly said that this book is not meant to be a cult or the start of another religion.

It is simply a way for some to help them see Christ in all people.
How could this be a bad thing.

Would you dare call Mother Theresa wrong for seeing everyone as Christ?

And what is Christ but a word. Where it meets you and the meaning you give to it IS the meaning.

The name of Jesus has been used to represent pure evil all throughout the centuries.

Comment on What has Happened to the Abortion Issue? by Ty

The issue used to seem black and white until a few years ago I met several people engaged in the lives of women with unwanted pregnancies - in comparison to those in my church who knew no pregnant women. One couple comes to mind in particular. They met a homeless woman, sheltered her, checked her into rehab, found her a therapist and a whole host more for her, her heroine addicted boyfriend, and yet unborn child. To them, abortion was not the issue. The issue was - are we helping these pregnant women to find another choice. I've quickly learned that abortion is not the issue. The issue is much, much deeper. For too many christians, myself included, abortion is an easy escape to keep from shouldering the emotional and physical burden of women who need people to love them, finance them, and help them through the difficulties of a pregnancy that was not planned. Christians vote against abortion but sadly, the large majority neither know any woman faced with an unwanted pregnancy or have the time or desire to help them.

My friends can vote pro-life because they're fighting against abortion by helping these women. I'm not speaking for all people but too many of us are not voting pro-life - we're voting to keep from carrying the burden of loving our neighbors and getting involved in the areas of our cities that need us so we can feel more comfortable. It's one thing to vote to save an un-born life. It's another thing to actually be a part and save that un-born life. Just a thought to make things a bit more blurry...

Anyone who is not whole and perfect would obviously need a Savior to be free and remember who he is. But if you are saved, then why are you still imperfect and a sinner, Judi?

And how would a benign Creator kill to save? That is insane. Jesus did not die for your sin, but because of your sin. That would be a more accurate statement. But if he did so, and if that saved you, why then don't you live in the resurrection? Obviously, it doesn't depend on Jesus, but on you. You are saved, yes, but for you to know this as it is, you need to take your place among the saviors of the world, and give it away. That is your only rightful place here.
